The North Philadelphia History Festival is a celebration of African American and Puetro Rican heritage, featuring events, exhibitions, and installations along Ridge Avenue, North Broad Street, and beyond. Led by artists, historians, and curators, the festival explores the rise and impact of these communities throughout the 19th and 20th centuries.
For the inaugural festival, sixteen featured projects took the form of video installations, exhibitions, live performances, film screenings, and walking tours, weaving through historic sites in North Philadelphia. Visted by thousands of visitors over the course of four days: July 24-27th, 2025.
